"Maintenance Free" respirators are convenient "single use" respirators that eliminate the need for individual pieces (cartridges, face piece, etc.), thus minimizing confusion.
An OSHA approved respirator program requires the keeping of records as to how many hours a particular cartridge has been used. Here is a link to additional information and guidance on an approved respirator program and guidance on how often to change cartridges; If continuous use of Tiger Foam kits is anticipated, then additional "maintenance free" respirators and/or the purchase of individual face piece and cartridges may be necessary.
